Finding Your Ring Size Without a Ring

Step 1
Take a string, strip of paper, or piece of fabric and wrap it around the base of the finger you’ll be wearing the ring on.
Step 2
Ensure the material is snug but not too tight, and mark the spot where it overlaps.
Step 3
Measure the marked length using a ruler in millimeters. Use this measurement (the circumference of your finger) to find your ring size on the conversion chart provided below.

Finding Your Ring Size Using an Existing Ring

Step 1
Select a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you plan to wear your new ring.
Step 2
Using a ruler, measure the inside diameter of the ring by placing it across the center from one inner edge to the opposite inner edge. Record the measurement in millimeters.
Step 3
Match the measured diameter to the corresponding size on the conversion chart provided below.
